Consider the positive
impact you can have when you buy from a local business. Dollars
spent in the local community do make a difference, because local
businesses:
- Spend more money at other local businesses, creating
a “multiplier effect” that circulates the money within the community
–– rather than allowing it to “leak away” through out-of-town purchasing.
- Make
up the largest employer category in Innisfail.
- Give better customer
service overall, because they are free to make decisions based
on community needs, close at hand when after-hours service is required
– and treat you as a local, rather than an as anonymous customer.

businesses (look for window signs displaying the campaign logo.)

Become a
campaign sponsor
Support the campaign that aims to support you and
your business – buy a sponsorship package. Your financial assistance
will help extend the life and momentum of the campaign.
In addition,
campaign sponsors will have access to a range of campaign marketing
resources and merchandise, advertising opportunities, free professional
development workshops and special sponsor events.
Community organisations
Become a campaign champion
Demonstrate your support
by displaying campaign signage and merchandise. Express your support
through public speaking opportunities at community events and add
your endorsement to media releases about the campaign. Campaign
Champions also receive a free Campaign Champions Sponsor Package.
Volunteer!
Play a hands-on role in assisting Innisfail to maintain a vibrant
business community. Help the campaign coordinators to recruit and
liaise with sponsors and/or provide practical, on-ground support
during campaign events.
